Essential Book List For UPSC

Today we are discussing about the required book sources to crack UPSC examination. Basically very people think that to many books will required for Civil Service Examination, but it is only a myth. We can crack exam by less sources of books and smart study. Today every aspirants have smart phones so with the help of mobile they could make yourself smart.

Essential book list for prelim and mains:-

 History:- NCERT from 9 to 12 class, for Modern History “ Modern History of India” and Freedom Movement by Vipin Chandra.

 Geography:- NCERT from 9 to 12, if additional Majid hussain reference book and a world map which suitable for you.

 Polity:- Laxmikant will be sufficient for pre and mains.

 Economy:- Again NCERT from 9 to 12 and Ramesh Singh. And the economic survey report is very important.

 Environment:-12 class NCERT ecology section. And other additional book which suitable.

 Science and technology:- NCERT from 6 to 10 and current affairs.

 Culture:- Fine arts NCERT books and Nitin Singhania.

 Internal Security:- Ashok kumar and Vipul (Mc Graw Hill pub.)

 International Relations:- You can prefer good notes from any classes and visit on mea.gov.in

 Ethics:- NCERT psychology books.

 Newspaper:- The Hindu and Dainik jagran ( National Edition). And Business Standard for economy.

 Magazine:- Kurukshetra and Yojna.

And last government new projects and Yojna which related with economy and social network.
