To we will discuss about the pattern of UPSC, we will try to understand the strong strategy of examination pattern. Generally this exam complete in three phase these are followings: Prelims Mains Interview Each phase will discuss widely to understand the pattern of UPSC examination clearly.
Prelims exam:- The Preliminary examination included by two papers which are multiple choice questions with total marks 400. The language of the each paper in Hindi and English both. It will depend on the Candidate which Select suitable language for yourself. Let us start the patterns of preliminary papers:
General Studies paper-1 st :- This paper also marked of 200 and included with 100 multiple choice questions. Each question will be 2 marks.
Syllabus of GS-1 Paper:- (1) Current events of national and international importance and relationship. (2) History of India and Indian National Movement with world history. (3) Indian and World Geography – Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World. (4) Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. (5) Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc. (6) General issues of Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization. (7)General Science.
GS-2 Paper:- It will be the qualifying paper and only 33% marks required in this paper.
Syllabus of GS-2 Paper:- (1) Comprehension. (2) Communication skills with Interpersonal skills. (3) Logical reasoning and analytical ability. (4) Problem-solving and Decision-making questions. (5) General mental ability. (6) Basic numeracy (Class X level)
NOTE:- The duration of each paper will be 2 hours.
