Presently North America facing a natural disaster as a Hurricane. North Carolina is the most effective by the florence storm. At least 88,000 people were without power in North Carolina with the brunt of storm yet to come, according to the state emergency management agency. The sixth  named storm , third  hurricane , and the first  major hurricane  of the  2018 Atlantic hurricane season , Florence originated from a strong  tropical wave  that emerged off the west coast of Africa on August 30, 2018.

What is Hurricane Florence:- Florence has transitioned into a post- tropical cyclone that still carries heavy rains and gusty winds. Florence has become an increasingly elongated low-pressure area that's still producing heavy rain over parts of the Mid-Atlantic.

Fact key:- Florence, a onetime hurricane that weakened to a tropical depression by Sunday, dumped up to 40 inches (100 cm) of rain on parts of North Carolina since Thursday, and continued to produce widespread heavy rain over much of North Carolina and eastern South Carolina, the National Weather Service said. The number of people killed in the cyclone has increased to 17. Rainfall continued in North Carolina on Sunday also.

Highlights:- The governor of the province, Roy Cooper, says that the storm is not as dangerous as continuous heavy rains. Many rivers are flowing above the danger mark. 900 people have been rescued in the flood and sent to safer places.
