`Swachhata Hi Seva` campaign

On Saturday Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched "'Swachhata Hi Seva Movement' as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). This campaign will continue two week long. Prime Minister to mark Mahatma Gandhi's 150th-birth anniversary and also fourth anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM).
Aim of Swachh Bharat Mission:- To bring about an improvement in the general quality of life in the rural areas, by promoting cleanliness, hygiene and eliminating open defecation. To accelerate sanitation coverage in rural areas to achieve the vision of Swachh Bharat by 2nd October 2019.
Result of the SBM campaign:- In this four year campaign Prime Minister Modi share some data of the golden work of SBM movement "all sections of society and every part of the country have joined the cleanliness drive as he noted few would have thought that 9 crore toilets would be built and 4.5 lakh villages declared open defecation free in four years". The sanitation coverage in India has increased to over 90 % from 40 % in four years. More than 450 districts would be open defecation-free [ODF] in four years or that 20 States and Union Territories would be open defecation-free in four years.
Particepation in the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign:- many national and international personalities particepate in this movement such as the Brand Ambassador of SBM Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Ratan Tata, and all the CM of BJP ruling states.
