Global warming:-

 also referred to as climate change, is the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of the Earth climate system and its related effects. Global Warming is a major problem which our environment faces today terribly. This global warming is caused due to Greenhouse Effect. What is greenhouse effect? It is a condition in which Earth’s heat trapping increases more from the normal levels.

British satellites ('NOAA SAR' and 'S1-4') were released on Sunday by ISRO. ISRO sent them to space from their Career Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-42) from Satish Dhawan Space Center located in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. ISRO has sent 237 satellites of 29 countries in space. In this mission two satellite 'Nova SAR' and 'S1-4' have to be installed in space. Their combined weight is more than 800 kg.

What is Cyclone-30:- It is in established in Kolkata based Variable Energy cyclon Centre, which comes under the department of Atomic Energy (DAE), will start regular production by mid- 2019 after support nuclear system and regulatory clearances are commissioned.

A new surface-to-surface missile called “Prahaar” was successfully test-fired on Thursday for the first time from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, Orissa.The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) developed Prahaar (meaning “to strike”) in two years, to specifically bridge the gap in the range between the unguided Pinaka rocket, which has a range of 45 km, and the guided Prithvi missile variants, that can take out targets 250 km to 350 km away.
